Siavash (Sean) has B.Sc., and M.Sc. degrees from Iran and Ph.D. degree from Georgia Institute of Technology all in the field of power electronics and electric propulsion systems. He has worked on cutting-edge technologies for electric propulsion systems for more than 15 years in the business. As a co-founder of Optiphase Drive Systems and Infinity Miles Inc., he is bringing cutting-edge technologies to the market in the areas of motor drive systems and power electronics. He has extensive experience in a variety of propulsion technologies, power classes, and applications from his previous roles as a senior and technical lead engineer at General Motors Advanced Technology Center, Capstone Turbine, Honeywell Aerospace, Hyperloop Transportation Technologies, and Supernal. In the subject of electric propulsion systems, Siavash is the author or co-author of more than 30 international publications that have received over 800 citations. He possesses twelve patents in the field of electrification, both published and pending.  He was the recipient of the IEEE Southern California Chapter's 2014 Outstanding Engineer Award.
