Born in former Yugoslavia on July 30, 1974, Sergej embarked on a journey of resilience and innovation shaped by the tumultuous civil war of the 1990s. In 2000, he migrated to the United States, venturing into the realm of construction before honing his expertise in electrical work. With an unwavering commitment to self-improvement, Sergej mastered the English language and ascended the ladder of success, diversifying his skill set across various construction trades.   His passion for renewable energy and green technology and 23 years in electrical contracting, led him to specialize in solar and electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure projects. Over the past 6-8 years, Sergej has spearheaded initiatives for multifamily buildings, commercial enterprises, and banks, overseeing the installation of over 30,000 EV charging stations. His role as a Senior Project Manager in several companies in Los Angeles California, underscores his adeptness in leading diverse teams toward project success, with budgets ranging from $20 to $75 million.   Sergej's entrepreneurial spirit shines through his role as Co-Founder and CEO of Qcharge, a pioneering venture aimed at revolutionizing the EV networking landscape. Leveraging his extensive experience in the electrical field, Sergej collaborated with industry stalwarts to develop cutting-edge solutions and software, striving to place Qcharge as a leader in the electrification sector. His podcasting on “Q in Charge” endeavors further showcase his commitment to demystifying new technologies and fostering public discourse.   Fluent in Serbian, English, Slovenian, and proficient in Spanish, Russian, and German, Sergej's multicultural background enriches his ability to engage with diverse stakeholders. His robust skill set spans project planning, budget control, vendor management, and team leadership, underpinned by meticulous attention to detail and a solution-oriented approach.   With a Bachelor of Science in Pneumatics and Hydraulics from the Mechanical University of Belgrade and an Associate of Arts in Industrial Design from the Polytechnic Institute, Sergej's educational foundation underscores his technical acumen and innovative mindset.   Driven by a relentless pursuit of excellence and a commitment to sustainability, I was looking for opportunities to continue his trajectory of innovation and impact, embodying the ethos of resilience, adaptability, and visionary leadership.
